The vision of George Mason University’s Construction Management is to provide support, analysis
and accurate construction information, which will aid campus officials and administrators
in making good business and educational decisions.

The University's Construction Plan includes a goal to manage effectively and efficiently
with objectives to:

• Manage the capital construction program.
   
• Administer all construction contracts for capital improvements and major renovation and
  repair projects to include construction cost and schedules.
   
• Responsible for contract compliance and quality assurance of all capital construction.
   
• Provide engineering services.
